Mailing Labels Overview

The mailing label system provides the ability to create a printable page that will fit the Avery 5160 mailing label sheet of labels. The initial page provides two selection options: <UL> <LI>Scope: Filter selection of which people to include <UL> <LI> Entire Roster: Used as a check to proof the list, mainly for cleanup. </LI> <LI> Newsletter Subscribers: Each person record has an attribute of <B>Newsletter</B> which can either be <B>Y</B> or <B>N</B>. This option collects those who are opted in where this value is <B>Y</B>. </LI> <LI> Member Subscribers: Same as above, and they are in the member table. </LI> <LI> Opted Out Members: Same as above, but their <B>Newsletter</B> is <B>N</B>. </LI> <LI> All Prospects: Anyone in the people table whose <B>Membership Progress</B> is not <I>Member</I>. </LI> <LI> Opted In Prospects: As above but the newsletter attribute is set to <B>N</B>. </LI> <LI> Opted Out Prospects: As above but the newsletter attribute is set to <B>N</B>. </LI> <LI> All Members: All members. </LI> <LI> Opted In Members: Members whose newsletter attribute is set to <B>Y</B>. </LI> <LI> Paid Members: Members whose current dues status is <B>Paid Member</B>. </LI> <LI> Recent Attendees: Anyone attending the last 2 socials. </LI> <LI> Past Attendees: Anyone attending a social since the system went online in July 2025. </LI> <LI> Last Event Attendees: Anyone attending the last social. </LI> </UL> </LI> <LI>Delivery: Whether the output goes to: <UL> <LI>See To Print: You see a printable sheet as it will appear and print it to your printer. </LI> <LI>Save To Website: Save the output to the website, archiving it to <A HREF=https://matesanddates.org/maillists> https://matesanddates.org/maillists</A> where anyone can retrieve it. </LI> <LI>Download PDF: Directly downloads it without inspecting it. </LI> </UL> </LI> </UL> You make the two selections and click on the button labeled <B>Print</B> and the database selects the set of people/couples to mail to and provides the list in the delivery format you choose. The key filters work on the <B>Newsletter</B> attribute of the person record (via the <A HREF=/people.php>Who</A> utility) and the relationships from the <A HREF=/members.php> Members</A> utility.
